Recorded in 1960, this album was originally titled MORE OF SPARROW'S GREATEST HITS, and was issued on the Tropico label (and, later, on the RCA Victor Trinidad label). However, this was not a collection of previously released recordings. It was, in fact, an album of all-new recordings of songs that Sparrow had popularized during his early recording career in Trinidad. Hence, these recordings are unique to this album, and some titles can be found ONLY on this album.

Early versions of some of these tunes can be found on the digital albums Calypsoes by the Mighty Sparrow, Ornithology Vol. 1, Sparrow in Hi-Fi, and Calypso Carnival.
